Let us help you ensure your garment has the perfect fit with on-site alteration and custom services! Our boutique has highly skilled, European-trained seamstresses and tailors on staff to make your gown, pants, or dress look like it was made just for you. Not a Kasia's Bridal client? No problem. K&K Dressmaking do take outside alterations, just call to book your appointment!
Appointments are required for fittings or to try on, view, or pick up merchandise. We request you bring the exact shoes and undergarments you plan to wear with your gown to your fitting.
Due to an influx of weddings in 2022, we recommend you schedule your appointment no later than eight to twelve weeks ahead of your event to ensure appointment availability (if time allows). If you have already taken your gown home, please let the alteration department know you'll be bringing the dress to your appointment. Don't have eight to twelve weeks? Not a problem - just let us know when you need your garment ready by and we'll be happy to check our availability to put your alterations in our rush queue.
If you're placing a special order for a gown, your fitting appointment should be scheduled once you receive notification that your gown has arrived at our boutique.
Please note, February through October is our alteration department's busiest time.
We require 24-hour notice if you are unable to attend your pre-arranged appointment. Fittings are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of a tight scheduling calendar, we will accommodate clients with the closest event date.

The alteration cost is not included in the price of your gown. Pricing varies based on the style of the gown and initial fit. Gown pressing is included in the alteration fee. We can provide you with approximate pricing over the phone, however, your exact price cannot be given until we see what alterations need to be done to your gown.
A minimum 75% of deposit is due at your first fitting, and any balance due on a gown must be paid in full before your fitting appointment. If your alterations are under $100 and you plan to pay with a credit card, alterations must be paid in full. If you're paying in cash, 75% of deposit is allowed but your final payment must also be paid in cash; no checks are accepted.
If you should experience any drastic weight loss or gain from the point of gown purchase, you may incur additional charges separate from the normal alteration charges.
Pricing for veiling and bustling also varies based on the services requested. Similarly to our alterations services, approximate pricing can be provided but we cannot give a final price until we see what work needs to be done.
