Find Out More About Our Bridal Services

Read on to find answers to some of the most common questions we receive regarding bridal appointments at Kasia's Bridal & Special Occasion Boutique! If you do not see your question answered here, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to assist you.
  • When should I begin dress shopping?

We recommend you start shopping for your wedding dress 9 to 12 months in advance. Orders from some designers can take up to 8 months, so it's crucial to order your dress in time to have any necessary alterations done.

  • Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are required to view, try on, and order all gowns to ensure you get the exceptional service and attention to detail you deserve.

  • What should I bring to my appointment?

Nothing is required for your bridal gown appointment. We have undergarments available in our store if you need to use them or you can bring your own.

We request you bring the exact shoes and undergarments you plan to wear with your gown to your fitting.

  • How long will my appointment last?

Appointments are scheduled in 90-minute time slots.

  • How many people can I bring to my appointment?

Space is limited in our boutique. During weekday appointments, we can usually accommodate larger parties, but on Saturdays, we can only provide seating for up to 3 people.

Please talk to your consultant about how many people will be accompanying you to your appointment at time of scheduling.

  • What sizes are available to try on in-store?

Wedding gowns are ordered based off of your personal measurements. Our dress samples range in size from 8 to 24.

  • What if I have a gown in mind from a designer but it's not available in your store?

If you've got your eye on a particular dress, we'll see if we can have it shipped to our store by the manufacturer if the designer has a loaner program. There is a fee for the loaner program.

If we are unable to find your dress, we will work with you to find something in a similar style.

  • What does made-to-order mean?

We take measurements once you've found your dress to determine the correct size to order. Your consultant will review the manufacturer's size chart with you and discuss what size will work best based on your measurements.

The dress will be ordered in the size of your choosing but alterations are usually required. The cost of alterations is not included in the price of the gown.

  • Do you offer custom gowns?

Some of our designers offer customer designs for an additional fee.

  • Do you have on-site seamstresses?

Our boutique has highly skilled, European-trained seamstresses and tailors on staff to provide alterations for your gown. Alterations are provided through K&K Dressmaking.

  • What is a trunk show?

We host trunk shows throughout the year with different designers. Trunk shows are a great opportunity to see a large selection of gowns from a certain designer. Trunk shows do not last long, so be sure to book an appointment ahead of time!

  • What is your return policy?

Our store has a no-return and no-exchange policy.
